Varden Capital, along with its partner, Tellus Partners, are developing a 59 unit, adaptive reuse project located in Downtown Mobile, AL. Seaman's Hall is an historic building in the heart of downtown Mobile, Alabama: a thriving port city. Originally built as a hotel for sailors, the property has now been acquired by Sponsorship with the goal of transforming this structure into a five story, 59-unit apartment building. The units will be high end and will have finishes such as quartz countertops, combination washer/dryer, and stainless-steel appliances.

Situated downtown, the property is near great schools, shopping, restaurants, banking and medical offices, including Mobile Infirmary, one of the top five hospitals in Alabama. It is quite close to several cultural sites such as the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, the Mobile Botanical Gardens, Battleship Memorial Park, and the Mobile Carnival Museum. 40 minutes away, one can find the white sandy beaches of Dauphin Island along with several other attractions including historic Fort Gaines and the Estuarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
